Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Muwani, Pithoragarh was established on 08 February 2014 with the happy approval of the Honorable Governor of Uttarakhand State. And on the same day, teaching and non-teaching posts for Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) were also created in the college. This is mentioned in Uttarakhand Government’s letter number – vide notification No. 519/XXIV(7)/-(6/2014) by the Government of Uttarakhand.
